Oldies but goodies...

I was looking at my camera the other day and found a few pictures I never got around to posting, so here's backpedaling a little, but hopefully some good memories!

Shaving Cream
Another of our "Friday Fun Time" activities was shaving cream finger painting on our desks. They seemed to have a great time, the desks got cleaned and the room smelled great! A bonus for all of us!

Scooters!

For our "Friday Fun Time" (students earn minutes for good behavior during the week, and then get to use their minutes towards and activity on Friday), we did scooters!!! The students had a blast riding on the scooters and the bouncy balls. I think we'll have to do it again!

Texas Roadhouse Reading Party

We had an AWESOME reading party today. And we had over 2/3 of our class attend! Thanks for helping your child work so hard to get their summaries done.

Texas Roadhouse was gracious enough to cater lunch for the students. We had delicious pulled pork sandwiches and applesauce. Mrs. Redmond then taught us some of their cheers (my favorite was the Banana cheer...)



followed by a boys vs girls trivia game. It was close and I'm still not quite sure who even won...

Last we learned two line dances. The girls did an awesome job! The boys were a little more, shall we say, TIMID! But we had a great time. (I asked Mrs. Jennings to try to NOT get me in the video... a 5 month pregnant woman jumping around can't be a good sight!)



And not to plug Texas Roadhouse too much, but in case you didn't know, they are a non-profit organization. All the money they earn goes towards paying employees and then helping the less fortunate. They also are huge sponsors of the education system, so be sure to visit them sometime!
